Early Learning Center Curriculum
Our Curriculum
Our Center uses the Creative Curriculum, which combines teacher led and student selected activities. It is designed to provide developmentally appropriate, content rich activities that feature exploration and discovery as a way of learning, and encourage children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills. The Creative Curriculum has been trusted by early childhood educators for decades, and is loved by the staff, parents, and students at Just for Kids!
We believe that children learn best through play, so all of our activities are hands-on and play-based, and contribute to a theme of the week. These activities take place at interest centers located around each classroom. Some of our students’ favorite centers include Art, Reading, Blocks, Science, and many more! While playing in these centers, children enhance their creativity, develop problem solving and communication skills, and collaborate with others. They have so much fun playing in each center that they do not realize how much they are learning!
Nutrition Matters
At Just for Kids, we know that nutrition is an important factor in a child’s development. Which is why we continuously strive to provide healthy, balanced, and nutritious meals for our children.
We serve breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack daily, all of which are USDA approved and prepared in our kitchens that specialize in home cooking, so that your child’s meals will be similar to what they eat at home. We also work to accommodate any allergies or dietary restrictions.
